PCTs are reminded that for distance selling premises applications (ie wholly mail order and/or internet-based), it is sufficient to notify those people and organisations listed in Regulation 23(2) of the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2005. There is no requirement to notify all PCTs in England, although PCTs may choose to notify their neighbouring PCTs if they so wish.
