NHS PCC - What we do
NHS Primary Care Commissioning (NHS PCC) has been providing valuable commissioning, contracting and communications support for SHAs, PCTs and the Department of Health since 2005. NHS PCC operates on a subscription model and all PCTs currently subscribe to its services.
NHS PCC provides PCTs with local insight into national policy and supports implementation and best practice in commissioning and contracting across all areas of primary and community care.
Our network of regional advisers and associates have great technical expertise, are highly responsive and provide tailored, local support to PCTs helping them to reduce health inequalities, meet 18 week targets and achieve financial health through effective commissioning.
NHS PCC is also highly valued for its annual programme of national, regional and local events targeting specific areas of primary care.
NHS PCC publishes a wide range of documents, toolkits and briefing papers across all primary care areas and operates a helpdesk service for technical queries across all primary care contracting areas. NHS PCC has a presence at all the major NHS events and conferences throughout the year.
We also publish New@PCC, a weekly news bulletin currently circulated to over 20,000 subscribers. Access recent issues here.
