NHS Choices:

PCTs are responsible for ensuring people are given up-to-date and accurate information about NHS dentistry and guidance on how to keep NHS Choices up-to-date and setting up local PCT helplines has been produced to support PCTs in this important task.

NHS West Midlands has developed its own local guidance which includes examples of local approaches:

Communications toolkit:

A set of professionally-produced, high-quality marketing and communications materials, designed to help PCTs improve dental access for the public, is available.

The toolkit and campaign materials – see below – have been centrally produced and tested, and an evaluation of the communications pilots is also available.
