| Description: | The Department of Health invites NHS CEOs, Chairs, PEC Chairs and key partners to attend this invitation only event. Each SHA and PCT should send two representatives at executive level. The day will focus on the refined framework for World class commissioning assurance year 2, and the economic climate in which the NHS now needs to operate. PCTs will receive practical support to develop strategic commissioning skills and capabilities. Attendees will collect a copy of the revised World class commissioning assurance handbook for year 2, and information on the updated World class commissioning assurance online toolkit. Please note that from 09/09/09, you will not be able to make a self booking for this event. If you wish to make a booking, please complete and return the event brochure. |

This event is free to NHS Staff and people working in Health and Social Care in the public sector.
NHS PCC reserve the right to cancel places to ensure fair representation.
Delegates who do not attend, do not cancel their place prior to the event, or do not send a replacement on the day will be charged a non attendance fee of £150. Delegates must collect their name badge from the registration desk. This is the means of identifying attendance, therefore if a delegate does not collect their badge they are considered a 'no show' and are liable to pay the £150 non-attendance fee.
By making a booking to attend an NHS PCC event you are agreeing to be bound by the NHS PCC booking terms and conditions. - Places are allocated on a first come first served basis
- This event is open to SHA & PCT CEOs, Chairs, PEC Chairs and key partners. If these are unable to attend, you may nominate a colleague, but he/ she must be at executive level only
- Places are limited to 2 per organisation
- NHS PCC reserve the right to cancel bookings to ensure fair role and geographical representation
- Places are free of charge to NHS staff and people working within the health, social care, public and voluntary sector
- Non attendance, without prior notification will incur a £150 no show charge. Replacements will be accepted free of charge, permitting they are a CEO, Chair, PEC Chair or at execu
