Good News from the Home Oxygen service Patient Survey 2010

The results of the national home oxygen service patient survey make for very good reading again this year.  Although, of course there are areas from which to learn and on which to improve, the response was overwhelmingly positive.  Here are some of the key points:

Patients responded as follows:

Overall satisfaction  - 94%
Increased satisfaction with delivery and installation  - 93%
Ease of ordering up by 7% to  88%
Convenience of deliveries up by 8% to  86%
Delivered when expected up by 6% to  85%
Contact with supplier up 3% to 91%

We are working on developing next years survey, under the new contract, and will be setting up a working group to ensure the questions are patient-focussed.
