The Department of Health (DH) Medicines Pharmacy and Industry Group has commissioned NHS Primary Care Commissioning (PCC) to identify whether PCTs would commission a programme that could create a harmonisation of accreditation standards for pharmacy services (HASPS) scheme across England.
This paper sets out the case for developing a national process to define competences for the harmonisation of accreditation standards for pharmacists and their staff who wish to provide local enhanced services
