Under the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2005, S.I. 2005/641 (Schedule 1, paragraph 31), pharmacy bodies corporate can, if they wish, provide fitness to practise information to one PCT rather than to all the PCTs on whose list they are included. The ‘Home’ PCT is the PCT where their pharmacy company's registered office is based.
PCC maintains a list of the Home PCTs for pharmacy bodies corporate (pharmacy contractors in limited liability companies with over three branches) with contact details for the PCTs or their agencies where the management of the pharmaceutical list has been formally devolved to such organisations.Further information on the duties of Home PCTs can be found in DH guidance issued July 2005 (Gateway reference 4728).
The list can be found here.
We rely on PCTs and their agencies to help us keep this list up to date so if you have any amendments for this list, please email them to maria.axford@pcc.nhs.uk
