NHS Networks

NHS Networks helps clinicians, health professionals and managers to get connected, share good practice and work with colleagues across organisations and boundaries.

The NHS Networks hub offers free web space, collaborative tools, and means for networks to enrol, manage and stay in touch with their members.

With 29,000 registered users since March 2010 and 50 new members signing up every day, NHS Networks answers the growing need for time and cost-saving ways to work more creatively online.

NHS Networks provides continuity and a means for people to stay in touch with colleagues and the issues that matter to them – and never more so than during periods of change.

Like the NHS itself, Networks is free at the point of use. Anyone who works in or with the NHS can join. It includes hundreds of clinical, professional and special interest networks.

NHS Networks provides daily news, a weekly newsletter read by more than 19,000 members, email alerts, an events calendar, discussion forums and a news portal for commissioners (the Commissioning Zone).
