In July 2007, Lord Darzi was asked by the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Health to lead the NHS Next Stage Review. The final report of the review was published on 30th June 2008. On 3rd July 2008, 'Our vision for primary and community care' was published as part of the NHS Next Stage Review. NHS PCC will be working closely with the DH dentistry team to look at the ramifications for dental commissioning.
