The current Government has not yet published any policy documents on violence against women and children - these will be added as they become available.
The previous Government published Together We Can End Violence Against Women and Girls: A Strategy, in November 2009 following a major consultation, which set out the previous Government's aims in relation to prevention, provision and protection in relation to women and girls who are victims of violence. Further archived information on previous Government policy can be found on the archived Department of Health website.
