Our commitment: service and value in 2009/10 and beyond
Dear subscriber,
We hope you agree that our service has already given you value for money in 2008/9. We plan to make further significant improvements next year and beyond. We are increasing the resources made available to deliver local advice and support, developing the range of materials available on the website, and opening new areas of activity supporting PCTs.
The subscription prices for 2009/10 will once again offer a significant discount where all PCTs in an SHA grouping (or more than 15 PCTs) subscribe. An individual PCT subscription for 2009/10 will be £20,750 and the group rate will be £15,500.
For the first time, PCTs are being encouraged to commit to subscribe for three years. This commitment will help NHS PCC to plan ahead and set up future programmes that take time to develop. PCTs who qualify for the group discount will also be eligible for a further 5% discount if they commit to the three year subscription.
How to take full advantage of the discounted rate
When you subscribe, you are asked to make clear whether you would like to commit to a three year subscription. Groups of PCTs receiving the three year commitment discount will be given a total subscription price for the group and this will then receive the 5% discount. PCT groups are expected, where possible, to use their local SHA formula to attribute to individual PCTs their share of the overall price of subscription. NHS PCC will then invoice as advised by the group.
Committing to a three year subscription does not mean payment of three years' subscription in one go: payment will be made in each year. In 2010/11, the discounted price for 2009/10 with be increased by the GDP deflator, and then this new total will be increased once again by the GDP deflator for the third year.
We hope you are now ready to subscribe again to our service. If so, please take a minute to complete the form below.
On behalf of the NHS PCC team, I look forward to continuing to work with you in future.
Yours faithfully
