Use of the NHS identity

DH is working to ensure the NHS identity is prominent at all levels of primary care both to improve visiibility of, and to improve access to, the full range of NHS services.

To this end, new guidance has just been published giving directions to PCTs and dental practitioners for managing the use of the NHS identity in dental practices.

Click here to read the 'Dear Colleague' letter issued by DH on October 10 2008 and to download guidance to the NHS on managing the use fo the NHS identity in dental practices.

PCTs might also like to direct dentists to online information about the use of the NHS identity within dental surgeries available here.
